RPA 814	RARE - and a real anomaly ! A 1st generation Canadian manufactured handsome lockdown-filling Vacumatic Standard (matching end jewels in the same material as the body of the pen) - with Blue Diamond clip - and it has an intriguing history. The barrel bears two engraved dates - the first being 36 (1936) and second being 2 which, we think denotes 1952 - the penultimate year of manufacture of Vacumatics, when some pens were made from old parts that had been lying in stock for many years. with its original MEDIUM-BROAD nib (slight hint of flex)	Mauve Pearl	1936 - AND - 1952 ! RPA 572	RARE ! - and always sought-after ! The mean, lean, writing-machine that is the PARKER 180, with its dual-purpose nib. Write with it the conventional way, and then turn to pen over and write with it that way.
