RARE, DESIRABLE,
and a PARKER collector's dream!
A boxed SENIOR Mandarin Lucky Curve Duofold, together
with a Mandarin pencil.
(click
on the pictures below for larger images)
Pen
has original feed and original Duofold MEDIUM nib
There are some minor issues with the cap of the pen.
There are what appear to be a few manufacturing flaws on
the back of the cap, and they look a lot worse in the photo than they
really are - they are hardly noticeable unless you are looking
for them.
There are 2 tiny cracks, less than 2mm long, running from the cap bands,
upwards.
|
Mandarin Yellow
This is one of those rare pens, on
which the cap was modified by Parker themselves.(When the streamlined
pens were first issued, dealers in the USA sent their remaining
stocks of Lucky Curve pens back to the factory in Janesville, to have
the top end of the caps turned into the new streamlined style).
|
c.1928 |
Pen - as described - but it really is handsome in every way,
and has a very clear inscription.
Pencil - EX
